Danette Nelson, Licensed Speech Therapist

Danette Nelson, MA/CCC-SLP is the president of SLPST, Inc. She has extensive knowledge in the field of speech-language pathology. She has worked in a variety setting: schools, hospitals, clinics, homes, and via teletherapy.

Danette has specialized training in Apraxia, Autism, Natural Language Acquisition, Floortime, Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC), P.R.O.M.P.T., Hanen Program, deaf -hard of hearing services and sign language.

Her primary goal is to provide clients and their families with effective research-based therapy techniques and strategies to overcome their communication challenges. Danette believe’s in following a client’s interests. When a client and their communication partner are having fun then language learning occurs at an accelerated rate!
